Alligator season in SC starts at 12 noon on September 11th! WE OFFER FULL SERVICE PROCESSING AND TAXIDERMY FOR ALLIGATORS All alligators MUST have proper paperwork and tags attached. All alligator caping and skinning fees are due when you leave the animal. To process your meat, we must skin your alligator. Two options for 2010 Process the whole gator: This option provides for your best possible yield from your catch! SKIN or CAPE: $15 per foot MEAT: $4 per lb. Process only Cheeks & Tail: We'll process only the tail meat and jowls. You are responsible for discarding the remainder or pay $20 disposal fee. $15 per foot of tail MEAT: $4 per lb. Caped vs. Skinned You need to know what you'll be doing with the hide BEFORE any processing begins.

2. SKINNED The hide is split down the back. You'll need a skinned hide for tanning the hide from this underbelly skin. This is the kind of hide tanned for making boots or wallets. $15 per foot Caping or skinning fees must be paid before leaving the whole alligator. No exceptions, please. |
